Wedding, jobs, organs...Oh my!
Good morning world!
It has been forever since I last blogged about my life to you, and SO much has happened!
First things first I have become a married woman! And just like any wedding mine contained drama from the inlaws. It doesn't help that my husband's parents are divorced and then one parent is remarried and the other has a partner. Now put that I was getting married in a Southern Baptist church and let the drama begin. So after much crying and worrying, everything finally worked out just before the bridal party walked in. Talk about cutting it close! And after some intense convos between my husband and his mother on the next to last day of our honeymoon, hopefully all the drama has been ironed it.
The other huge chapter of my life is my new job as a registered nurse. I am proudly orienting on the ACCU (acute cardiac care unit). Which is fun and the 12 hour shifts can be lengthy but having a few days off every week isn't too shabby either. One of the best things about being a nurse, is the paycheck! I was so excited after I got my first check. There has never been that much money in my checking account at one time.
At this very moment I am sitting in a critical. Are orientation class, and now we are about to learn about organ donation. Which I personally believe everyone should be a tissue and organ donor. I mean, come on, when you're dead you won't need them. So give somebody else the chance to live. You can be a lifesaver...for reals.
Until next time!
